Fitness Center Access Included
In order to help you achieve your goals and reach your full potential, all of our members have access to our state of the art facility with everything you will need when it comes to fitness, from free-weights to weight machines to cardio equipment like bikes and treadmills. Our members enjoy the convenience of being able to workout and study marital arts at the same location for the same price.
Private Martial Arts Lessons
Our instructors take pride in teaching you the proper technique and watching you grow as a martial artist. For those students that want a more personalized touch we offer private one-on-one classes at affordable rates. We encourage all of our members who can, to take advantage of the many benefits private classes offer. Please see the front desk about scheduling a private class.
Boxing
Boxing is an Olympic sport practiced throughout the world. It has been proven to be one of the most effective striking systems for self defense and in recently has become a popular fitness trend for people wanting to lose weight and get into shape. Boxing is a great activity for young people, teaching sportsmanship, developing character, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Jiu Jitsu
Jiu Jitsu is a combat sport that is lots of fun and extremely challenging. Jiu Jitsu practice promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a larger and stronger assailant by using proper technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground, and then applying joint-locks or choke-holds to defeat the assailant. Most importantly, Jiu Jitsu is an effective method for promoting physical fitness, building character in young people, and ultimately a way of life.

Women's Kickboxing(Cardio)
Cardio kickboxing is a group fitness class that combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio. This high-energy workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike. Build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout.

Israeli Krav Maga(Self Defense)
If you want to learn how to defend yourself in the real-world and walk with confidence, knowing you can protect yourself, then Krav Maga is for you. Originally developed by the Israeli Army to teach soldiers how to effectively defend themselves in a relatively short amount of time, It has become recognized as one of the most effective systems of self defense in the world. Cobra Kai is the only gym officially recognized to teach Krav Maga in the High Desert.

Muay Thai(Kickboxing)
Muay Thai is a form of kickboxing developed hundreds of years ago in Thailand; it promotes the use of punches, kicks, knees and elbows strikes to defeat an opponent. Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand and has gained a reputation around the world as both, an entertaining combat sport and an effective method of self defense; In addition Muay Thai is a great way to stay in shape. Muay Thai training is suitable for all ages, and is especially great for young people as it promotes family values, good sportsmanship, and a healthy lifestyle.

Eskrima-Kali(Filipino Martial Arts)
Eskrima is the national sport and martial art of the Philippines, and is an extremely fun martial art to practice. Training emphasizes the use of weapons focusing mostly on stick and knife techniques and flow drills. In addition to weapons, Eskrima also incorporates empty-hand techniques such as striking, joint-locks, and grappling. In the world of martial arts Eskrima is known as the best weapons based system of fighting in the world. It is also an exciting combat sport. Cobra Kai is the only gym in the High Desert currently teaching and competing in Eskrima.

Mixed Martial Arts
MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world today. The popularity of Mix Martial Arts has grown exponentially and the demand for qualified instructors has grown as well.
Cobra Kai was founded upon MMA and is one of the oldest and most recognized Mix Martial Arts gyms in the sport. We are proud to boast of our track record as the gym to produce the highest number champions and quality MMA fighters in the High Desert.
Our Head-Instructor, Joe "Daddy" Stevenson is a former Ultimate Fighter and UFC Champion; now as a full-time coach he oversees the MMA training programs and fighters at Cobra Kai
